Instead, artists are urged to reapply for the next quarterly grant deadline in September."Discipline specific project grant applications from the March 1, 2020 deadline have been suspended and withdrawn due to the unviable nature of the majority of applications due to the COVID 19 pandemic," Alberta Foundation for the Arts (AFA) chair Mary Rozsa de Coquet said in a statement Monday."No changes have been made to the $26.9 million budget allocation for the Alberta Foundation for the Arts," said Danielle Murray, spokesperson for the Ministry of Culture, Multiculturalism and Status of Women.
